CPA Internship Program

Who we take

We are looking for students with:

  • well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • good analytical and problem solving skills
  • ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • ability to quickly absorb information
  • competent computer skills
  • proficient organisational and time management skills
  • interest and in auditing and the public sector.

What we look for

Applicants must be:

  • studying towards a degree in accounting or commerce (majoring in accounting)
  • in their final year of study at the time of placement
  • studying towards a degree that meets the eligibility requirements for entry to the CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand professional study program
  • an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.

In their application, applicants need to include:

  • cover letter
  • resume
  • academic transcript (official or non-official)
  • proof of Australian permanent residency or Australian citizenship (if not born in Australia).

The cover letter should include:

  • confirmation of your availability for work in February
  • expected graduation date
  • examples of your well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • examples of your experience within a team environment
  • examples of your proficient time management abilities
  • level of computing skills.
